MTB3113 Classic Wonga Park Loop — Warrandyte to Wonga Park Scouts Chapel and Back
Kicking off from Warrandyte, this cracker of a ride takes you through some of the best trails our backyard has to offer — a perfect mix of flowing singletrack, bush scenery, and just enough climbing to earn that coffee at the end. ☕
We roll out through Black Flat, where the trails wind through the beautiful bushland of the Warrandyte State Park. Keep your eyes peeled — the wildlife through here doesn't disappoint. 🦘
From Black Flat we push through to Wonga Park, crossing into the quiet single track interspersed with some fire trail, following natural contours of the Yarra.
Next up is Stan Brae — a chance to catch your breath and chill by the river before we start climbing again. The trail down to Blue Tongue Bend is a fast fire road that brings a smile to your face.
From Blue Tongue Bend we visit the Hidden Scout Chapel — a bit of a hidden gem and a great spot to regroup, have a snack, and soak in the atmosphere before the final push home.
The return leg back into Warrandyte brings you home through familiar trails, and the reward waiting at the end is well deserved — pull up and order a coffee. ☕🏆
